Double Crochet 2 Together (dc2tog)
In a US pattern this is called double crochet 2 together (dc2tog). In a UK pattern the same stitch is called treble 2 together (tr2tog). Same stitch, different name — check which country wrote your pattern before you start.
Two incomplete double crochets closed together with one final pull-through, decreasing the count by one.
The Japanese name 長編み2目一度 (naga-ami futame ichido) literally means "two long stitches at once".
