Bobble Stitch (bo)
bobble stitch is called the same thing in US and UK patterns, and tama-ami in Japanese ones. Written as bo in patterns.
Several incomplete double crochets worked into one stitch and closed together, forming a raised bump on the right side.
The Japanese name 玉編み (tama-ami) literally means "ball knitting".

Watch out for
The Japanese symbol shows whether the cluster is closed at the base (worked into one stitch) or open at the base (worked across several stitches). English patterns rely on the written instruction instead.
