Popcorn Stitch (pc)
popcorn stitch is called the same thing in US and UK patterns, and papukoon-ami in Japanese ones. Written as pc in patterns.
A group of complete double crochets worked into one stitch, then folded forward and secured with a slip stitch through the first of the group.
The Japanese name パプコーン編み (papukoon-ami) literally means "popcorn knitting".

Watch out for
