Double Treble Crochet (dtr)
In a US pattern this is called double treble crochet (dtr). In a UK pattern the same stitch is called triple treble (trtr). Same stitch, different name — check which country wrote your pattern before you start.
Three yarn overs, cleared two loops at a time. Rarely used on its own but common in openwork motifs and as the tall element in fans.
The Japanese name 三つ巻き長編み (mitsumaki-naga-ami) literally means "three-wrap long knitting".

Watch out for
The Japanese name counts the wraps directly, which is often clearer than the US and UK names. Three wraps, hence 三つ巻き.
